About 4th ICWSMSSC

Water is a key component for the continuance of life. In the framework of sustainable livelihood, water serves as a primary resource to the lifecycle and is a basic component for a healthy society. Apart from its distinctive values, challenges to establish a sensible and accessible water supply remain as a wicked problem. More than 1 billion of the global population live with inadequacies towards clean water supply while approximately 3 billion are lacked of acceptable sanitation services.Authorities are called to conduct even more serious actions to solve our problems. One of the major concerns regarding water system management is how to develop an appropriate social structure with an emphasis on people empowerment. To this extent, stakeholders have spotted social capital as a potential method and found it as appropriate to solve particular problems across Asian countries. Therefore, the 4th international conference on water supply management system and social capital will facilitate the acknowledgement of ideas and continually build a communicative framework among researchers and practitioners to contribute to problem solving.
